United StatesThe HOTWORX application is indented for members of our HOTWORX Studio facilities. The purpose of this application is to encourage users to track their total amount of calories burned during a HOTWORX workout session, and to track their "1-hour after-burn." A HOTWORX workout is 40 minutes, and the after-burn is 1 hour. The total session time will capture the calories burned for a total of 100 minutes. This app integrates with the Health app.
Basic app
This app needs to upgrade some of it’s functionality. First off, when it crashes you have no way to record your workouts and it happens often. That’s a big problem when one of your selling points is rebates towards your membership. Speaking of rewards, it is unclear how they work. The rewards are not anywhere in the app. I searched Reddit posts to find out the tiers. Sometimes my watch will have the wrong class, it will say yoga when I’m doing bands. I’m unclear if it has any correlation with the calories burned. The app it’s self is basic. It would be nice for new members to have a description of the classes. Like what equipment you will need (bands, foam roller, etc.). I have to google the website to see the clip of a class. The only thing in the app is how the blast equipment works, which is a good start. I will say that the option to book classes is straightforward and easy to navigate. The dashboard showing your calories is also nice when the app is working. Hopefully they will update the app in the near future.

The app constantly crashes, I can't keep it open long enough to book a class. When it does work, it will force a restart of the workout after the workout has already been completed and not record my activity.

I just joined my local Hotworx and I love their workouts. Problem is I can’t sign into the app and keep getting different error messages for why. I’ve used their wifi, my wifi, and my cellular data to try and log in. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app 4 times and still no success with signing in. Very frustrating.

Over the past month, the app has been degrading. It would crash on the first time opening, and always crashes after I booked a class. Now, I can’t do anything on the app. I have messaged the developers weeks ago and there has been no updates or fixes. Hopefully when I’m able to, I can go in during business hours and see if there’s a solution. If the gym is app reliant, then the app should be always working, not just sometimes.

Idk why but the fact that people cheat so obviously on the leaderboard bothers me, I really wish you would fix this, the global leaderboard first place is an absolute joke
