I really love my hero! It was a gift in 2020 after A breast cancer diagnosis. And every week for pills was irritating me. I wanted what the nurses use. My hubby saw this and brought it! I have been extremely happy every time I use it, 4 years later. If I had one complaint; it needs to hold more than 10 meds. Because I have meds and vitamins in my hero and I need done more spot 🤣. I love my hero!
Hero
This hero is great I use to forget with so many medications did I take this pill or not. I would be afraid I might not have taken or should I take another that I might over dose. Since I have the Hero I don’t worry about that no longer. I have told many people about Hero it Is wonderful machine thank you so much Hero. I love the Hero.
This is not fair to Patients!!!
I don’t think it, it is the patients fault if the insurance decides not to cover the item anymore when from the beginning and now going over a year. Ten the insurance is like never mind not going to pay for it anymore it now lands on the patient. That is not the patients fault and shouldn’t land on the patient, that is totally taking advantage of the patient!!!! I would have never got the device if I knew this was going to happen. This is such a headache!!!! This is totally not fair!!
Not user friendly
This machine/software should be more customizable. It is geared toward older adults and people who need help with medications but the controls aren’t made easy for them. Updates are needed badly.
Best Medication Dispenser Around!!
My Hero medication dispenser has been the most convenient and reliable dispenser I have owned. Totally irreplaceable!!
Be aware you have to pay $30-$45/month indefinitely to use it.
Pros- has helped me to consistently take my medication. The update where you could dispense from your phone was much needed and made it better. Cons- loud, very noisy when dispensing. Slow, seems to take a very long time to dispense even 1 pill. The machine is pretty large. You’ll need some space for it to be. The worst part really is the monthly subscription cost. $30 a month (that’s with a 2-year commitment, it’s more if you do shorter-term) which is a lot for essentially a fancy remote. You can’t use the machine unless you pay. I understand that price for like the first year to pay for the machine, but after a year or so, loyal customers should pay a reduced price. $30-$45 a month to use it is, in my opinion price gouging. If you want a medication tracker/reminder, there are free apps out there.

This machine has made taking my medicine a easy start to my day. I used to worry if I had taken all my medicine and it’s taken the guess work out. It’s spot on every time and always is correct. I love my HERO!
