Excellent Support App
The HabitNu program is great and this app is a good way to track progress in food, activity, and weight. It’s got Bluetooth connectivity that connects to my Fitbit and Withings scale. It is also possible to connect with Coaches and team members in the discussion section. There are also recipes to help along the way, too. Good stuff!

Poor app
I started this program because my health insurance pays for it. I have participated with Weight Watchers in the past using their app, which is far superior. This app does not display the correct carb count that you need to stay below. It does not display the correct fat grams. The food database is terrible. You cannot search by restaurants. Tracking food is very challenging in the app. Also, you cannot see the nutritional value of a food when searching for it to try to make an informed decision of the heartiest option. You only see the nutritional value after you added it to your meal for the day. I don’t find this to be helpful at all, except that it syncs with my scale, allowing me to trend my weight loss. I would not recommend this app.
Some improvements needed
Based on other reviews and my experience, looks like Coach Sally is the only one that knows how to coach (unfortunately she is not my coach). I appreciate my health insurance paid for a free scale because I signed up for this. But due to the weird restrictions and poor shipping of the scale, I can’t earn a Fitbit so be careful if that’s important to you. The app itself is missing some key components, most notably that it doesn’t adjust caloric intake for activity levels. You also can’t copy meals, although one of the typical weight loss strategies is to have a few reliable meals, especially for breakfast and lunch. Combined with an uncurated database, it makes for some tedious logging. The videos are very basic info (although according to a prior response on that issue, the app developer blames the CDC for that). Overall, if you’ve done the weight loss thing before and just need a way to (1) get a free scale and (2) start logging again, and your insurance pays for it, it’s reasonable. If you are new to weight loss and need some personal support, look elsewhere. (And to the insurance companies, come on guys. You can do better than this. )
Accountability +++
This app helped me to set reasonable exercise & diet goals. Better yet, Coach Susie provided weekly tips on how to measure and meet the goals I had set for myself! Although the app is super easy to use, it was the personal coach that really helped me to finally be accountable to myself.
Good Idea - syncing with iWatch
I like the app but I have to manually add in my steps and physical activity because it doesn’t synch with my iWatch. It feels like I’m doing everything twice. I would love an update that would include iWatch as I’m not switching to a different watch or tracker for one app.
User is now able to submit the forms within the Learn section of the app. SDOH questions are now shown within the app based on the program and partner. Issue with Upload button when "Other" is selected as Document Type has been fixed Icons of the chime meeting are now updated to look similar to web app icons Blood Sugar Graphs alignment issue has been fixed
