You can use this app if your membership card displays www.cignahealthbenefits.com and a personal reference number (xxx/xxxxx…). With the Cigna Health Benefits app, you can: • Search for a doctor, hospital or facility, and email the search results • Download or send an electronic version of your membership card for you or a family member* • Submit claims* and check the status of your pending claims • Contact us with the tap of a finger (*If applicable for your plan)
Unusable App!!!
I keep getting logged out of the app repeatedly while trying to file my claim. I have just spent more than an hour trying to submit one invoice in one claim. And noting how many other users have been complaining about the same issue for years, I really wonder why Cigna is not fixing these basic issues. Customer interface at its very worst.
Buggy
The app constantly tells me my password is incorrect. I’ve taken to backspacing when I’m in the password field to get rid of any phantom characters which seems to fix it. Furthermore it will randomly kick me off and back to the login screen. This app needs some serious work and updates
My plan- download impossible
I cannot download ‘My plan’. There are pdf documents which would not download.
Needs Major Work
This app is more of a headache than useful. Website is easier to navigate.
It deserves -5 stars… fire the developer team!! All of it, please please please
The app used to work pretty well in 2019. However cigna kept releasing useless updates that made the app worst: slower, less responsive and full of bugs (it keeps crashing, does not take password etc.). Fire the head of the development team, and hire someone capable!!
A complete waste of time…..
This is a review of the Cigna Health Benefits app for iPhone. This is a review being done on Dec. 13, 2023. The app is not ready to be used by anyone at anytime in that whatever updates were recently given to this app were completely useless. Multiple times while trying to file a claim the app times out and forces the user to log in over and over. I have literally spent over one hour trying to get to step 3 on two claims and the app keeps timing out before you get to step three. Other times after taking the photos of the paperwork the “wait” icon pops up and after a minute or so you get asked to log in again only to find out when you do log in that the information that was input has not been saved. One would think that if a business was getting it’s customers to pay the health premiums and do “customer self service” as well; under the guise of “helping the customer” the app would/should work flawlessly.
Annoying to use
Crashes all the time or the loading wheel spins endlessly. I honestly think they make it difficult to use so you give up and don’t make claims.
