Can’t live without
After 9 months of use I can’t go a day without this. My nervous system gets easily out of whack and this has been incredibly helpful. I am a forever user at this point.
terrible app, terrible company
The fact that this is an unethical company was clear before I even bought the device - charging hundreds of dollars for a dinky little vibrator in a clunky plastic cage with a cheap velcro strap is a clear indication of their motivations: it was never about helping people but about bilking them. However, I live with severe ME and know many others in my condition who have benefited from the device, so I bit the bullet and shelled out the money. From day 1, there were issues of connectivity: sessions would end abruptly a minute in, as soon as my phone screen would lock. Scheduled vibes fared a little better - the seesions would run till the end BUT whether or not they started was a different story. I ended up returning the device in frustration, but a friend gifted me his device (just a year old), so I continued trying it out. It has now been a month of consistent use and consistent frustration. Do the vibes benefit me when they do work? Maybe. It's hard to tell. But any benefits are outweighed by the frustration and constant exertion of trying to get the device to work. It's such a simple operation that is required of this app, but years into development they still can't get it right. Maybe that's because they're too busy coming up with gimmicky ways to squeeze more money out of their customers (like releasing a "love" vibe behind a paywall right before valentines day) instead of getting the basics done right. This is a device that could clearly benefit so many folks in the age of long covid, and this company is more interested in making bank instead of helping those poor folks. I am just waiting for some intrepid soul to launch an open source version of this product that will make this technology accessible to the folks that really need it. EDIT: I will not be falling for the gaslighting "developer's response" gimmick of "contact us with a brief description of your problem" -- I already provided detail here in my public review, and they have plenty of public reviews stating how customers are fed up with their money-grabbing ways. Contacting their support through their app, btw, only results in being given useless auto responses. But while I'm editing this review, a few uodates on their device and app: I absolutely DREAD each of the app/firmware updates, each one comes with a new stressor. Last time, they forced a survey and unwanted schedule on users before we could even enter the app. Imagine trying to start a sleep session and instead having to take a 10 page survey and then have a useless and unwanted schedule programmed into the app that you now have to delete session by session. The aggravation alone will make it impossible to fall asleep now. This latest update has caused an overnight issue with the battery???!!! My usual schedule is set so that I can get through the day, night and next morning's sessions and only drain the battery by about 40% (I then charge it to full when it's around 60%). Immediately after the update yesterday, though, the battery started draining rapidly, so that by this morning the charge was in the single digits and I was unable to start my scheduled session. It seems they're pulling what Apple did a while back with their iPhone batteries: forcing issues via updates so that customers would buy new devices faster. I truly hope folks will read this review before wasting their hard-earned money on this utter garbage.
Basics please
Software getting worse and more gimmicky over time. Don’t want to subscribe to something I already bought.
App Continues To Be Utter Garbage

Predatory behavior
Recently Apollo rolled out a new paid feature that requires gathering data about your daily habits to implement. I wasn't interested, so I dismissed this screen, but today, I couldn't get into the app--and thus couldn't use the device I'd paid for--without answering the questions (which pertain to a subscription service that I'd have to pay extra for in order for the questions to even apply to me). This is predatory, anti-consumer behavior, and all the more reason not to support any company that requires an app to use a product you've already paid for. They'll do precisely this: hold hostage something you've already bought until you hand over your data.
Infuriating
I am so disappointed and frustrated. I started using my Neuro with my Android devices, and at first, it seemed like a great resource. Then across multiple Android devices, I could not reliably or consistently get a Bluetooth connection with my Neuro. I asked for support and I complained and asked for a replacement right away and I just got the runaround and didn’t get the support I needed. Fortunately I have an iPad, and I begin to consistently in reliably get a Bluetooth connection with the Apple iOS app. Now just recently, I cannot quickly and easily get a Bluetooth connection with the iPad. So here I am again, I thought I had a consistent reliable resource, really remarkable technology for mood and focus, and now when I need it most, I can’t get this expensive investment to connect and provide the value that I thought was amazing discovery. I’m infuriated and disappointed. I have reset the device multiple times, and I now cannot reliably and easily get a connection with Bluetooth on any of my Android devices nor on my iPad. And I’m not looking forward to contacting support and again getting a bunch of ridiculous questions about how to troubleshoot it when I am a technology expert and I just simply know something is wrong with app version or with the device I got shipped.
Forced Schedule with Latest Update
This ridiculous update forced me to go through a quiz with no way to exit to force me to set a schedule I do not want just to be able to turn start my sleep cycle. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED INTO A SCHEDULE! Then I had to go to the trouble of deleting all the junk it force scheduled for me before I could go to sleep so it didn’t start doing weird stuff in the middle of the night or waking me up too early in the morning. DO NOT FORCE ME TO SCHEDULE STUFF I DON’T WANT JUST TO GET TO THE SCREEN WHERE I CAN TURN MY DEVICE ON! I like the device, but this was nuts!
