The first episode in this series had, as usual, both positive and negative aspects. Let’s get the poor ones out of the way. It was brief, there was a slight lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface, we were visited by that infernal sales timer clock, a bunch of achievements completely failed to light up, and the hint/menu/ dialogue was partially offscreen. However, there were some very good qualities as well. The storyline was creative, there were some unique and interesting HO scenes and mini-games, and the tasks were enjoyable to complete. In addition, inventory usage was somewhat innovative at times. I liked the game in general, but Domini still needs to focus on their quality assurance. My rating will actually be 3.5 stars. I also have some good news to impart as well. In the near future, we will be treated to a new Friendly Fox offering. It will be the next in the Dark City series. This one will be set in Kyiv! Unfortunately, part of the scene is cut off on both sides of the iPad screen. It is hard to hit the upper buttons as a results. I am not sure if other things are cut off screen as a result. Please fix soon. Thanks.

Attention gamers! This is not a true rating, as the game desperately needs to be updated. Please do not purchase it until Domini issues an in-game update! The quality assurance has been put under the proverbial microscope by the DTE Director of Quality Assurance. As usual, there is a marked lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface, ensuring miserably monotonous tapping to acquire inventory items. In addition, the menu and hint button icons are NOT fully present on the screen! They are partially off the gameplay interface. This is an unforgivable lapse in quality assurance. The standards of enjoyment have been lowered. It’s not bad enough to endure a sales timer clock on a short episode, but to tolerate the aforementioned glitches is quite unbearable. I am asking you not to blindly purchase these expensive episodes until we have decent knowledge in regards to the quality assurance. Why do you think I have a terrific Director of QA? Certainly better than anyone at Domini. We absolutely scrutinize these games with a fine-tooth comb.🪮 (by the way, the last few games have been disastrous, from a QA point of view!) Plus some of you played that awful compilation game and spent money on previously released content, which is extremely unethical. It featured a fatal flaw in the bonus chapter. Yes dval, you had it called but you still shouldn’t have bought it! Oleg has been alerted and I have basically demanded an immediate update. We will not allow the gamers to waste money on a glitchy and problematic game. So once again, until the game has been UPDATED, DO NOT PURCHASE please. Thank you!

Although this episode did have some unique mini games my rating will remain a 1 due to the fact that part of the playing field is off the screen. This has been an issue in recent games and I would advise not purchasing until it is corrected.
