So disappointed!
I’m an EG fan and was excited to try this one. It is clunky, difficult to navigate, the collectibles are nearly invisible and the story is lame! Don’t waste your money!
Halloween Stories 7: Written in Blood by LynxMinx
I decided to purchase the game after all, in order to impart the truth to all my loyal gamers. This game was a huge disappointment! It was extremely glitchy. First of all, when I tried to open it, I got a black screen. I had to close and reopen it every time I was playing and this became annoying. Load time between locations was a bit lengthy. The touchscreen sensitivity was terrible. I had to apply inventory items several times to get them to “take.” Those inventory items were NOT LABELED! Considering how much we pay for these games, this situation is UNACCEPTABLE and had better not be repeated. In the HO scenes, the screen could not be enlarged. Elephant, your target demographic of players is women over the age of 50, and not everyone has perfect eyesight. You need to stop creating these games cheaply or you will continue to lose gamers and revenue. The basic gameplay was enjoyable when the game functioned at all correctly. The collectibles were miserable to find. Most of the mini-games and puzzles had no innovation whatsoever, and many were of the boring rotational type. I was happy to encounter one where you must paint. My true rating will be 2.5 stars. You don’t deserve more than that. Gamers, this game was frustrating more often than it was fun. Why spend money on a game that has these issues? The developer needs to enhance touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface, and ALWAYS LABEL INVENTORY! That was extraordinarily obnoxious. Note to Elephant: I told you that if you didn’t label inventory, I would ensure a loss of revenue. I always follow through! Not acceptable in the least! The gamers always agree with me.
More obvious please
I played the game and didn't experience much issues at all but the collectibles and puzzle pieces are too blurry to be noticed so please do something to make them stand out a bit more so we don't miss out on getting the full collection during the game experience ... as for the inventory I dunno what or whyz people are complaining aboutz but for me it worked just fine so congrats on fixing whatever their issues were ... will change to 5 stars once the update fixes the blurry issue ^^
Elephant is dead
I couldn’t even finish the free trial. The graphics looked like something from 2011. The music was the same. No labeled inventory. No atmosphere. What happened? Is Elephant trying to focus on steam games or something? These aren’t steam game types of games. Hidden object adventure are for very casual gamers to get a little fix of atmosphere during a lunch break or something like that. We are aware they’re all similar and not very challenging. We like them mostly for their atmosphere- which is now gone. And SHAME on elephant for teasing us with the promise of a big Halloween game. Gross. Oh- and speaking of gross: what’s with the loser hipster character and his man bun? This isn’t 2015. Try to keep up at least. Ugh. Long story short - elephant is a shadow of what they were. I won’t even be searching them up in the App Store any longer. Oh, but please fix the old, good games that I BOUGHT OUTRIGHT to keep forever that I can no longer play because they don’t function on new phones. Asswipes.

Here we go again
I was looking forward to playing this game for weeks but was very disappointed with nothing labeled and lag time between the screens and very hard to see items.
Update
I decided to give this game a try since it had a Halloween theme. The unlabeled inventory was annoying but not insurmountable. Far more troubling is the terrible lag time, however I did enjoy the game otherwise, and to be fair I will give it a 3 rating. If not for the above issues this would have gotten a better rating. ———————————————- Again, no labels on inventory and the lag time between scenes is awful. I think this developer must have two teams producing their games, and this one is terrible. The game that Elephant released about a week ago was great and got a 5 star rating from me.
- Fixed a bug with displaying item names in inventory, - Fixed minor bugs.
