Nice recipes but get ready for LaserShip to ditch your package at the wrong address
Pros: Nice, interesting recipes. Cons: They use LaserShip, so 40% of your boxes do not make it to you. They do not sort the ingredients by recipe. The tracking in the app does not work (probably because LaserShip does not work). They expect you to have a lot of kitchen stuff you may not have (immersion blender). I’m willing to deal with ingredients not being sorted like they are in Hello Fresh boxes. I’m willing to spend $100 on a blender. I’m not willing to walk all over God’s creation to try to figure out where the LaserShip moron dropped the package.

The produce comes already going bad, we’ve thrown much of in the trash & buying from grocery store. When I tried to cancel on the app, it said I cancelled. A week later I get charged again. Spoke to “customer service” & they said I would have received an email if I cancelled. Download crappy app again & cancelled again…says I will get an email in next 30 days. I just turned off auto pay through payment source. Stay away!!

The app is cumbersome with all the new extras for every meal. Used to love using this app and service but the last few months it has become more of a hassle to navigate and order recipes that my family would enjoy. They also have horrible customer service both on the phone and via email. They can NEVER do anything to help which seems odd since most other companies like to solve their issues and make customers happy. Overall the food is good but not worth the $50 price tag for a small meal.

I’ve ordered from a handful of these meal kit services, and for me, Marley Spoon is the best. Others either repeat the same meal choices over and over, or use the same spice/seasoning packs with every meal. Marley Spoon really does offer new, exciting meals every week. You’ll never get bored! And final product is 🤌 Cannot recommend enough. I mean unless you hate non-boring food 😝

App forces you to pay before even seeing options for meals. I called immediately and canceled my order, and followed up with an email. 2 weeks later they delivered a box and charged me. I called to get a refund for a box I never ordered and customer service was extremely rude, saying they could not do anything. Shady service, no wonder this chick went to jail

My sister (who lives states away) told me to try it and she would send me a voucher. I mistakenly went on the app and looked at what they had prior to receiving it and it refreshed and created an account for me. Not only that but the delivery date was not on e I had selected. Then I contacted customer support 2x and got no response. Didn’t even get a chance to use the code since the account was already created and it’s 1 per household 😡.

Use at your own risk. Fair warning: my comments are about Marley Spoon, the service. The actual app works okay. However, if you have any problems with delivery or quality of products, do not expect any resolution from customer service. They behave as you would expect from a money-grab of a weekly delivery service. Run, don’t walk, to any of the other (and better customer focused) meal delivery services!
