So easy to use!
I'll be honest, I prefer checking out the recipes on my desktop because it's even better/easier for making substitutions, but the phone app is super easy to use for when I don't get a chance to check out the upcoming recipes on my desktop. Blue Apron is the best mail meal prep I've found for freshness, quality of products, uniqueness of recipes, and packaging ~ I have a friend who was complains about all of the waste with mail-order meals, and when I told her that more than 75% of Blue Apron's packing is recyclable (love the nitrogen!), she was totally shocked. Keep up the good work! 💙 Blue Apron Lover since 2013. Well, it's 2024 and I don't remember when I wrote the other review, but I still like it and love most of the recipes...

The food was good. Tried ordering prepared meals for lunches. The expiration dates didn’t even make a week. Lasted 3 weeks. All 7 of 8 meals expired within 3 days.

When I first signed up for Blue apron I didn’t know how long I’d subscribe. Thought I’d give it a try. Well, after a little over a month I can honestly say they are TERRIFIC. They include everything except the pot! Perfect proportion and great choices! If they stay as great as they are, I’ll be a customer for life! UPDATE: After a year Blue Apron is still an all time favorite!

Initially, I was skeptical. But after making a few meals, I am truly impressed with the quality, flavor and ease of preparation. I've worked in gourmet restaurants and am absolutely a foodie. I'm also no slacker in the kitchen. But I hated how much food was getting wasted and how I would just stock up on all the stuff and then never really know what to make. While I do think the individual servings are a bit pricey, about $20 pp, it's less than you would pay at a restaurant, far healthier, more delicious than most things you get and we we can usually squeeze one and a half to two meals out of each portion. In fact, it's hard to eat out anymore because I'm so unimpressed by many of the meals compared to Blue Apron quality and flavor. I love that there is zero waste and I get to pick from a pretty good selection of options. I don't have to think about what I'm going to make, no more grocery shopping list, and the whole family is much healthier. 🥬 Not to mention, I've tried new foods that I would never have even considered, like barley instead of rice, it is so much better! I don't know how this isn't a normal thing. One big complaint... from My Son who isn't ecstatic. We have gone from going through the drive-through at least five times a week to once a month. 😂 🍔 🍟 I've also learned that cooking doesn't have to be crazy with a million ingredients; some of the techniques and sauces are as simple as salt and pepper. Mind blown 🤯🥗🍲
