This app is lousy
The app quits working after any update done on my iPhone. Even when it’s “working” it will freeze up or go blank. I gave up on it and just use the web site.

Am I the only one that find this app so poorly designed and always down for maintenance? Really a poorly built app that should be scrapped. The company should be ashamed of offering this product to their customers

The app since it was down for maintenance for a long period of time hasn’t worked the same since. The graph for the rate of return is stuck in a positive outline even though accounts drop. Your unable to toggle between years like you are on the website. Needs to be fixed

Trying to log into my account from the app never works due to some kind of validation error and their only solution is to sign in on the website. Fix your app!

The first page often has the wrong balance and an old date. Then when you click the account it often says plan information temporarily unavailable. Very buggy.

Trans America website and especially the mobile are garbage. It is really surprising that such a large financial institution would drop the ball so spectacularly on an important client portal. The app doesn’t display rate of return correctly or even allow me to get past the landing page. The app is useless as that point. The website is better but they have three or four different portals and it’s difficult to determine which one is correct based on your particular account. My account is through my employer’s 401k so I don’t have a choice on financial institution but I’ll not invest any of my other money with TransAmerica because the client portals are terrible. With all of that being said, the funds available in my 401k are high quality and I am pleased with my 401k performance. The app and webpage are dumpster fires.
