Face Scan won’t work
Have been trying for scanning my to login for hours and it never works. Purely a waste of time and shame on HSBC providing such understand app for clients.
Top up?
Why asking to top up? If using the app it is because we want to pay someone. Obvious! Waste of time. Many times to put the pin code for a simple payment. Learn from Alypay...

Confusing and tries to take your money
I simply wanted to make a payment to someone but the app kept telling me to top up. In the end it took BOTH my payment and a set amount top up of my account, basically a double charge. Not at all my intention.
Bad Performance- don’t bother
This App is so bad at an important function (digital payment) that I am motivated to write my first app store review. The issue I have is that the app is slow to open, slow to pop up the merchant payment code and frequently just gets stuck. Originally, I only used it to send money to a friend, then I naively registered my consumption voucher. Now I find few merchants take payment from this app and much, much worse I find myself often standing in from of the cashier- like just now at 7-11, waiting for the stupid app to open and bring up the payment code. App just froze, I can’t stand there for a couple of minutes waiting on the App. Complete fail.
