App doesn’t work like it used to
Tired of dealing with this app. Loved it in the beginning cause I could use my Touch ID now no matter what I do it won’t work. So I’m stuck having to always use my email and password. Takes way to much time when I’m in a hurry and need to check my balance. Can’t even use my PIN number always tells Me There is always an error and sign in with my email !
Login Issues
I appreciate that there is a login option with a PIN, however this function does not work on iPhone, and this results in a number of unnecessary steps/clicks to be able to login to the app. The PIN login function is presented first, and once the PIN number is entered, the numerical pad does not disappear, so there is no way to select “submit” to proceed with the login with a PIN number. Instead the user must close out of the PIN screen, select the “Sign In” button, close out of the PIN screen a second time, then finally reach a login screen to sign in with email and password. And since there is no “remember me” function, the user must type the email and password each time to finally login successfully. Once logged in, the app is very useful. But getting logged in is a pain that could be solved by app developers making the numerical pad disappear after the PIN is entered, or introducing a function to close the numerical pad once the PIN is entered so that the “submit” button can be selected. I will update my review once this issue is resolved.
Useless in my case
Started an application for SNAP and I can’t get past the “add citizenship details” screen. I’m not a citizen, but permanent resident, so I choose my name from the pull down menu, then I enter my USCIS# (alien #) from my greencard, choose No for the sponsor question and the “Done” button is still grayed out and I can’t save the info. If I tap “skip” on the precious screen, it goes to a default “No” answer to the citizenship question, so I can’t submit my application because that isn’t correct and I’m signing under penalty of perjury. On the computer, I can’t find a way to open the application I started and saved on the app. So now I have to spend time trying to find help, waiting endlessly on the phone, etc. So frustrating.
Inadequate and shameful
Countless problems—most of which are with the login process.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
While using this app I decided on a whim to update my contact preferences to email/text only, no paper. Save a few trees, right? A few weeks later I receive a letter in the mail saying that I’ve requested to opt out of my Medicaid services. Um, WHAT?! I call in frantically trying to fix this issue and realize that the date I submitted this alleged “request” was the same as the date I updated my preferences. Thankfully I got it sorted out, but I shudder to think what would’ve happened if I had been in a position where I struggled with reading comprehension, clear articulation, or anything else of the sort that could be impacted by a disability or by speaking English as a second language. This app is DANGEROUS. Use it ONLY to check your balance. Don’t use it for ANYTHING else, for your safety.
Busted
I’ve never been able to use a quick sign in feature. The other day it prompted me to update my pin so I’d be able to use a quick sign in feature. Now the pin won’t sign me in (yes, it is correct, when I use incorrect pin numbers it tells me I have limited attempts remaining). There’s no way to get back to manual log in now, it just keeps taking me in circles to the pin entry. I have tried pushing the small “x” and takes to the log in/create account screen. When I hit log in, it takes me back to pin entry. I wouldn’t have left this review without trying every option first.
