Archaic log in procedure
I agree with other reviewers that expressed frustration with having to manually log in to their account every time the app is opened. My mortgage was moved to Mr. Cooper from a well known financial institution with a stellar app that utilized Face ID to access. How does an app in 2024 NOT utilize biometric verification?
Not intuitive and trouble opening app
I have the toughest time finding anything on the app beyond how to open a new loan. And I usually have to try several times to even have this app properly open. Not thrilled that my mortgage was sold to this company
No more FaceID or password autofill - idiots ruined it
So the app has always been good. Until maybe sometime maybe a month or so ago. 1) The app no longer supports FaceID 2) The login is now a captive web browser, so it can’t autofill your username or password. So basically, instead of being awesomely convenient, it’s not the MOST INCONVENIENT as possible. As a person who has severe hand pain every day, every extra character is literal pain, so this app is a huge step backward. So, on your phone, you’re supposed to type in your username. Do you remember it? Apple’s password thing does, but it won’t fill it in. You have to type it. And then you need to type your password. When you launch the app again an hour later, you get to do it all again. Nothing is EVER remembered.
Good luck talking to a human.
I’ve now been trying to get ahold of a human for over an hour. It’s all robots and even the chat on the app is a robot. I finally got through to a second hand agent and they said that they were just gonna transfer me back to the robot system and then when I go through the robot system, (after going through tedious menus) it says it’s calling an agent, The phone just automatically hangs up. I’ve done this three times now and I’m sick of it. I am a new customer and I’m not happy that my loan got transferred to these guys.
Issues with latest iPhones
If you try to view statements using a newer iPhone (14,15) the “X” to close and return to the app is so far up on the screen that it is unresponsive. The only option is to close the app and re-log on. Please update the app!!
No FaceID
For some inexplicable reason, this app does not utilize FaceID. It also has a lot of advertisements from Mr. Cooper to use their other services, much more than other banking apps. Overall a very disappointing experience.
Unable close statements
(1) When I open a statement, the X in the upper left hand corner does not work. To continue in the app, I have to completely exit and start over. (2) It would be very useful if the screen would rotate when viewing statements. (3) Lastly, when I select to contact App support, I’m taken back to the Mr. Cooper app. Seems weird to me. iPhone 15 pro max using iOS version 17.4.1, using the most recent update of the Mr. Cooper app.
