Why is the app being updated if we are no longer able to sign in? I receive a message that I need to login via a website. Please bring back the app.

The app is still available on the App Store (afaict) and was just updated with “bug fixes” 14 hours ago (at time of writing), yet when I try to login I get this message: > The MOHELA mobile app is being discontinued effective 03/14/2024. You get us with insane interest payments, pretty much keeping us in a lifetime of debt, making so much money. Yet an app has strained your wallet? Removing the app is just ridiculous! What was the reasoning, please enlighten us.

Please bring this thing back. It’s so much easier than having to log onto a website every time I need to make a payment or check information. Four taps on a screen and done. My loan payment is complete. Taking this away from busy people doesn’t make any sense. Please bring it back.

So you just totally remove the app with no alternative except “visit the website”?? No one wants that kind of inconvenience.. it seems you are going in the opposite direction of the rest of society. Do you also want us to write you a check chiseled into a stone tablet and send it via horse drawn carriage?!? 🤦🏼 This is what happens when you allow the government to get involved with student loan servicing. What a joke.. get with the times MOHELA!
