Bad experience switching to the free plan
Long story short I had to close my account because of how inconvenient it was to switch to the free plan. I got charged for a paid plan even though I requested it to be changed to the free plan BEFORE the renewal and I already paid for the current month. I have been on a paid plan for a year. Recently I spent all my balance and got it to 0. I then tried to switch to the free plan and expected to not have to pay since I already got charged for the current month. To my surprise the app showed me that the plan will change next month after another payment is made. Indeed, I got charged for another month. Why, Bunq?

Customer service requires multiple tickets to solve issues. Despite o multiple follow-ups. The paid account version they advertise a ROI on the money you have deposited but the interest paid is not aligned with the advertising. Overall they are other service providers that charge less and have better benefits than the ones offered by Bunq.
