Description
Pay now, plus pay over time
Meet the Affirm Debit+™ card. Use it to pay in full, or choose to pay over time in the app when eligible. It’s a brand new way to pay for pretty much anything, pretty much anywhere, in store or online.

Shop for purchases big and small

Pay up front with your card for your everyday purchases, or choose to split bigger ones in the Debit+ app when eligible. Enjoy the flexibility you need, when you need it.

Get flexible payment options

We’ve got payment plans that work for you and your budget. Before you buy, request monthly payments or interest-free installments—with an initial payment due at purchase—when eligible. Or request to pay in 4 in the app for up to 24 hours after your purchase.

No fees, no kidding

We don’t charge any kind of fees. Instead, you get a simple, transparent way to take control of your purchases. The total amount owed you see in the app will never change—from day one to day done.

Pay with it almost anywhere

Use Debit+ wherever Visa is accepted. You can pay with the physical card (available in 4 eye-catching colors), or you can tap to pay with the digital card on your phone. And of course, you can use it online like any other card.

Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Your rate will be 0% - 36% APR based on credit, and is subject to an eligibility check. Affirm Pay-in-4 payment option is 0% APR. Options depend on your purchase amount, may vary by merchant, and may not be available in all states. A down payment may be required. For example, a $800 purchase could be split into 12 monthly payments of $72.21 at 15% APR, or 4 interest-free payments of $200 every 2 weeks. California residents: Affirm Loan Services, LLC is licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. Please update this app

This app is very unpredictable. You can wake up with 500 to spend and never spend from your bank account. But mid-day it’s going to decline transactions and tell you you’ve gone over the limit. Then it’ll say $0 available and still show the money you have in your bank account. Next notification comes within 24 hours: “YOUR ACCOUNT IS NO LONGER CONNECTED” I’m tired of signing into my account every day for this app to work. Its starting to feel like fraud.

Crap app

Can’t even get past the verification to create a account. Email verification code sent at least 12 times and none of them counted as valid. What a waste of time. I’m sure this is just a sign of what’s to come in the future, so why bother?! Seriously spend some money on a app that is created by professionals!

Good product, Awful App

Love the concept and the product. The App is constantly losing connection to bank my account. For no apparent reason. Nothing has changed. No a fan of having to constantly link my bank account and re connect. Will Probably stop using product due to the constant app hassle.

Doesn’t work as advertised

Im a long time Affirm customer and generally pretty happy with the company but I jus got their new Debit + card and activated it yesterday and went to Home Depot to get some paint and supplies i needed for $155. The card didn’t give me the option to select payment plans and instead said “ Your available to split amount is currently unavailable”. Affirm says Your supposed to have 24 hrs to decide if you want to split payments but I got none of that. Im just being charged full price from my checking account. Customer service couldn’t explain to me what at Home Depot wouldn’t be eligible for payment plans. All I bought was paint supplies and thats not on Affirms restricted list so I'm at a lost but since it’s my first time using this card, I don’t want any more surprises so I’ll probably just cut up the card. Big disappointment for me.

Issues with connecting bank account

When I first signed up I was able to link my bank account just fine. Having the card now for several months I get notification my bank account was disconnected due to technical difficulties. When I go into Affirm Debit + my account j for is still linked and there, shows my current balance, but says I have no funds available to use with my Affirm Debit + card. I tried to reconnect my bank account but keep getting errors. When I go to my bank it says they are still connected to Affirm Debit +. I had the bank stop allowing them access so I could re-add my bank account but when I go into Affirm Debit + it stills shows it even though I had the bank stop their access. So I again try to add my bank account but again get the same error. I keep getting emails stating I need to re-add my account. How can I re-add when it won’t let me not to mention it still shows it’s linked. Now the card is unusable which is fine as I had not even used it yet because I’m still trying to figure out how it even works.

Doesn’t support most banks even with Plaid

I tried in the following order, Robinhood, Chime, SoFi and even my local credit Union UCCU. Seems like they only want you if you’re dealing with the big boy banks but since I don’t I guess I won’t. Big thumbs down from me. What does it matter who I bank with, you can see my balance in plaid and you’re debiting via ACH. You’ve lost a potential customer.
