Subscription
Also purchased VF and have received a tote bag. Cannot access what the subscription promised to provide. Didn't ask for a tote bag. I signed up for VF's news. All I get is a somewhat dated overview once a week. Signed up for an online newsletter and only get an email directing me to a poorly functioning weekly newsletter. Was expecting an app. Not this. They seem to have sold me a weekly email rather than providing an appropriate app for news. Will probably cancel at my earliest opportunity as I have no use for an app to purchase a fashion mag. I signed up for VF's world acclaimed news service and expected more from a monthly subscription that I might wind up paying for until next year. Customers don't want their money back, they want their purchase to work properly.
Subscribed but can’t open anything
This VF is a scam. I purchased subscription but have to pay for each magazine? I paid for the yearly subscription so why do I have to keep paying? Don’t fall for this…I feel I’ve been scammed.
Digital subscription Worthless
I’ve been a digital only subscriber for a number of years. This month, my app didn’t auto-renew and I was advised by VF to re-subscribe. Now I learn the the digital app is not available to digital only subscribers, it’s only for paper & digital. Really!!!!! After 3 email exchanges & 3 phone calls, I was told I can only access content on the web site. Which means no offline reading. Plus not formatted for an optimal digital experience. In addition, I keep having to get activation codes each time I sign in. I plan to cancel if I can’t get this resolved.
Run, don't walk
Whoever is running Conde Nast's digital subscriptions department should be fired.
Horrific. I’m beginning to really dislike Vanity Fair
This is an absolute waste of time. I’ve been back and forth with vanity fair trying to log into the app so I can use the subscription I paid for. They keep sending me passwords that do not work and I am unable to read the magazine on the app. I very much regret making the choice to rejoin Vanity Fair.
Great content, bad app
They can do better than this. There is no way to increase the font so you need to enlarge and scroll side to side to read. I assume most who read this magazine are over the age of 50 most will need a better reading experience.
This warrants 2 reviews
NOBODY LIKES THIS FORMAT! Listen to your readers. NO-one reads on an iPhone. Swallow your pride, put your tail between your legs and get your format and readership back. It'll only hurt for a sec and you can put it past you. Considered it a FAILED experiment. (I'll keep cutting down trees and keep the physical issue thank you very much). If that goes, so does my subscription. It was good while it lasted. Reading VF is (was) an experience. Now it's just a rag and a drag. VERY Disgruntled in LA U.G.H.
