No Picture in Picture (ipad app)
I’m on a three month trial, today being the first day. Started watching something but needed to check my email and discovered there’s no PiP. I googled and found this has been a feature request (or at least discussed) for years. It will definitely lead me to not renew my trial. This is the device I stream content on AND do tasks. Impossible to do with this app.

First day signed up for BritBox. So excited to view new mysteries.. No problem viewing first two shows… Then received message: “an error has occurred please try again later!” No service and no luck connecting after several try’s. Very disappointed!

The content is great, IF you can locate what you want. The catalogue is not all displayed, and surprise, there is no search function available. HUH? Browsing is an experience in redundancy, and limitations There is no “continue watching” function, so if your show isn’t in the promoted shows, you’re flat out of luck. The only partial solution is to access the shows via Prime, which we happen to have. And let’s say that is not seamless. Overall, extremely disappointing.

I have been a Britbox user for a long time. Love all the shows, def love the originals. The app leaves quite a bit to be desired. And mostly for one reason. You can’t do a pop out of whatever show you’re watching and do other things on your phone. It’s the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. Love Britbox, kinda hate the app 😉
