This app is terrible and has not changed in years. Hopefully the new one is better.

This app is so unreliable that i purchased a Sling account for my parents for Christmas since they use their iPads as TV’s around the house. 9 out of 10 times the app will either log you out or not let you log in stating “This feature is currently not available. Try again later” The UI looks like 2007 & apparently so is the functionality of it in 2020. The same run around to fix it too - Delete the app, reinstall & log back in. Two words Optimum. FIX IT.

Optimum had four appointments to install internet at my house. Keep in mind not once did they show up less than two hours late for each appointment. Then after the forth appointment where there was no communication between their own team regarding the need to switch poles being used to pull the wires from did I think to cancel my service with them. I got hung up on regularly by their customer service team and given the run around when trying to calmly get my deposit back. Now I’m on my sixth call with them for the refund and it’s still the same conversation. They are thieves and shouldn’t be in business. Look up their reviews. See for yourself. They are not lying.

I like the APP, I’m able to record shows and watch stuff on demand even. The only thing I wish you guys would fix about it is, I wish I could watch stuff off my DVR on my IPad! There are times when I can’t watch my tv. But I can listen to certain shows I record on the DVR, I can watch on the go as well?
