The app used to work fine on iOS 12, then OPTIMUM decided to force an updated app. So they get 1 star. I would give zero stars if it was possible. It is terrible for a public utility to require an app update that’s not available to older phones. May every employee of OPTIMUM be fired.

The channel guide feature is nearly impossible to use. You have to keep scrolling to see upcoming days. There is no way to select a specific day and time. The search feature loads backwards. It loads the dates furthest out first then you have keep scrolling to find the most recent date. The soonest episodes should be loading first! Practically unusable

I’m currently subscribed to optimum for my tv service as well as for my internet service. I just found out that I cannot gain access to this app due to the fact that I purchased my own modem instead of paying the $12 modem monthly rental fee. If I want access to this app, I must dump my modem and pay the forever $12 modem rental fee. End the monopoly Optimum.
