Sticking to Uber and Lyft
First of all, I NEVER write reviews on here but I have to let you know the pros and cons. Pros: Can get can high paying deliveries for little work. Some as large as $104 Cons: Whenever you get an order you have to confirm it and hour before delivery within 5 min and if you don’t your order gets reassigned. The app is suppose to prompt you a confirm button and sometimes it doesn’t and you lose out on a large order and money that you planned to make If a customer lies and tells customer service that you requested a tip from them they will contact you but if you don’t pick up the phone because you are busy then they will assume the customer is right even if you email them or call them when you get time too. Also there is no calling them. Customer service can be rude and untimely and really aren’t much help. Again I never write reviews and I this could be really good if the app wasn’t soo buggy and customer service was actually there for you. I lost a $104 order because of the con I listed above and suspended for 72 hours without being able to retrieve my pay because a lady called in saying I demanded a $20 tip which is ridiculous because I never demand tips ever. She didn’t realize the other people who place the order already tipped in the app.

I may see one or two orders A DAY?! Then, if the orders are too small or too low pay to make sense to take. I was hoping for more work but I guess SkipCart doesn’t have the customers or demand as Instacart or Shipt. That’s unfortunate.

Yesterday was my first day on the job. Everything went great! This is a lot like Uber Eats, but better IMO. I didn’t have any issues with the GPS, cashouts, or orders! I made 70$ I will continue to work with Skipcart. This is better than the other gigs in my location! Please add same day payouts 😁

If you can only get one or two decent orders a day it’s not worth it to even take up space on your phone. Don’t be like Uber and DoorDash and let a million people on. Be like grub hub ( still too many users ). Also fix the off center map on iPhone

I received an order and used their mapping to go drop it off. It sent me to some random place that kept getting farther and farther from the original place. It wasn’t until I used my own gps that I was able to deliver this order. It took me 45 minutes to deliver this order when it was initially seven minutes away from the place (I did not realize until I delivered the order) I picked it up from. There is no way someone with common sense is running this app. They also don’t queue your orders so once you deliver one order you have to wait for the next to come in. It can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to receive a new order. They need to do better if they want people to continue to use this app.

It’s sad that they don’t fix this app. It could be a good app if the app would notify you when you have a order. When you do get notifications about orders it’s for orders that you can’t take because your not anywhere near that location. This system would tell you that you need to go to the pick up location when you are already in driving towards the destination. They lie to you and tell you that you can get 20 - 30 orders per day. You would be lucky if you get 10 orders.

The GPS map is never centered on the phone screen and difficult to even see. It’s also very slow to react or correct driving directions if you turn or take a different route. It’s like no GPS at all sometimes and I need to use an alternative GPS outside the app. The app and system also went down a few times recently and I simply lost a large catering order because I couldn’t get the app to work even after re-starting my phone.
