All downhill
When dumpling first started a few years ago I felt empowered to run my own business and control my pricing and clientele. In the last year they have turned the tables to where they are making a bulk of YOUR earnings which in turn requires you to increase your cost of services. This has caused me to lose over half my customers because it is now too expensive and they pay less using other services available. For example, I shopped a good size order at Walmart with a 20% tip, $8.99 delivery fee. Of course my entire delivery fee was eaten and they got paid the same I did if not a few dollars more. Should’ve been a $60 order and I got $29. I understand some fees but the ones they are running now are just GREED! This app will not survive much longer. you are no more a business owner on this platform than you are on Instacart.

Joined the Dumpling platform 3 weeks ago to start my own business. Followed all training for setup and marketing, spent close to $1000 on materials to market my business. Started to get Facebook messages from other local shoppers bullying me and threatening me for being in the area. They made false complaints to get our company kicked off the platform since they have been around longer. Dumpling did not reach out to us at all or respond to any emails or messages. There isn’t even a phone number to contact them in person. Terrible company and policies. Look elsewhere

So they pretend like your the boss and this is your business, but in reality try to control everything you do on the app. Then just remove you as a shopper from the searches if you don’t want any new customers LOL they are literally jokes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. This is your fair warning before you decide to even pay them any money to start your fake business up. Look elsewhere

Dumpling should NOT be taking a percentage profit out of my tips. The fee that business owners pay should be a flat fee based on the total amount of each the grocery order. The tips from my customers are their appreciation towards my service, and your company as the middle man does not deserve to take any portion of it.

I downloaded this app in hope that I would start my own grocery shopping business. I paid the $20 starting fee to get my card and nothing ever came. It’s probably been about 1 1/2 months. I can’t even log in with my number. It is saying that I don’t have an account. I need a refund.

You are not a business owner at all! You have a little autonomy but not much. they force the features you have no option to opt out of. If you try to go to their Facebook page and air grievances they block you immediately because they don’t want criticism. This app will crash and burn it’s only a matter of time. You can’t build a future with an application where you totally ignore your critics
