Nothing arrived
Six hours after my order was accepted and payment made nothing had arrived. At that point I knew the local store was closing. It’s now 9 hours and nothing has arrived. The app says my order is being processed at the store. No one answers the helpline however long you wait.
They need to review this service immediately. AVOID!!
Waited an hour and the app showed no progress on my order. Called customer service, they hung up after being on hold for 15 mins. Called again and they hung up again after 10. Called a third time and asked to be kept on the line whilst they phoned the shops to find my order, and they did do that for me. They called three Sainsbury’s and I said can you just refund please and they said they would. Wasted 2 hours. Terrible service, doesn’t work. App is weird too as there’s no place to confirm your address other than it being on your card. The associates were nice but ultimately no help
Never works
Maybe it’s just where I live but I’ve not once had an order on time, never had one without substitutions. Just waited 2 hours for a deliver that didn’t show up and the (very nice) customer service team can’t get hold of the store to find out what happened.
Only 5/8 correct items
For instant deliveries you don’t expect stuff to be out of stock. 2 items not delivered and another was substituted. I’ll be sticking to getir from now on.
Limited choices and expensive delivery
Compared to other supermarkets that offer the same express delivery, Sainsbury’s is more expensive and their choices are limited
Awful don’t bother !
Waited an hour and a half (around dinner time) to order some food and pet food essentials and they cancelled the order for no reason! I now have to wait for another order from somewhere else and this is not the first time it happened! I gave them another chance as had deleted the app 6 months ago for same reason but they haven’t sorted themselves out yet clearly! Terrible don’t bother
ChopChop cannot fulfil orders - waste of time
First time using the app, order came the next day with zero notifications, assured this was a store issue so tried a second time, this time no order at all, and again no notifications. It’s as if the app was built with zero logistics to support it, should be quite embarrassing for Sainsburys to continue to offer this at all.
