The process and setup is very easy. Also not many things in the app to be confused, so it’s good in the beginning. Appreciate that getting all the payments in the next working day by the 6am unlike other competitors at the eod. When it comes to taking the payments, it frustrates a lot. I am using it to take payments for my taxi. When initiating the payment it taking lot of time which frustrates both passenger and me. After taking the payment also, it’s taking lot longer to check whether it succeeded or not. It is really handy to take payments in the mobile only but things like this can easily be fixed by the team. Been using this since last 6 months, it’s hard to choose other provider. Please fix. Thanks.
usually not working
after skip tips, usually can’t load the tap and pay page, will have different results. 1. keep loading 2. screen flashing and return to set amount page 3. force close Luckily I have revolut pro to collect card payments, same transaction fee if using card reader.
Disappointed
Used the app since the beginning of August last year but for some reason this year it just seems to be getting slower and slower to the point it just freezes. I’ve now gone back to sum up .
Most often doesn’t work
So we have to switch back to SumUp machine which is more percentage but never an issue and worth the extra considering aswell the loading times sometimes with the awkward wait with customers to find out card declined but works on SumUp fine
Did not work for me
The app failed to initialise the card reading session when I wanted to take payment from a client. Very disappointed. Lucky I had a back up ‘square’ which came to my rescue. Not sure whether I want to trying this app for receiving payments.
Not iPhone 8 Plus compatible
Was looking forward to using tap to pay but on loading the app it would instantly crash after clicking confirm on the payment screen. This was confirmed by support that it isn’t compatible with iPhone 8 Plus despite saying compatible.
