Adequate but could use improving…
You need to enable login through FaceID or even to remember username/password within my phone’s security settings. It really is very annoying to constantly have to re-enter every time I want to use the app. Otherwise the app is fine providing updates to transactions quickly.

How is Touch/Face ID not a thing on this app?
Title says it all. With this being mentioned by so many over the course of years how has the dev team not made this a thing? 🤬 Biometrics have been a part of most banking apps for years now. I’m sure your team can figure it out considering the team from your parent company, TD has managed to do it. If you’re running into troubles implementing it, maybe give them a call or shoot them an email. I’m sure they’d be happy to help or at least provide links to the relevant Apple API docs. 😉
No Face Id Option
The app seems old and outdated offering no option for Face Id.
No Facial Recognition?
I can’t understand why, in 2024, this app has no Face ID or fingerprint sign in. Every time I sign in, I have to manually enter my password, then wait for a text verification, then enter the verification number… It’s incredibly tedious and (in this day and age of technology) unnecessary. I’ve stopped using my card because of this. It’s not 2008 anymore, and the sign-in process is antiquated and time-consuming.
Why does TD develop for mbna?
I like the app better than the website. It takes me straight to my current statement instead of making me download last months irrelevant statement or jump through all the hoops. Although, when using the website, it never lets me log in unless I type service.mbna in the url. Almost definitely canceling this credit card because mbna is utter trash. Im surprised they didn’t get hacked yet. The fact TD developed this app and completely botched it really boggles my mind.
