I have tried several times to add my booking in this app and it keeps telling me that the booking reference number is invalid. I know it's the correct reference number because it works on the website. And I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times but still doesn't work. Extremely frustrating!
Will make your boarding pass inaccessible if your flight is late. Take screenshots, get a paper pass, or add to your phone's wallet app.

Screenshot your boarding pass because when you scan it once it goes away. Learned that the hard way, what a stupid way to design something.
You can't check into a flight or obtain a boarding pass through this app, despite what the app description says. It looks nice and shows flight info, but otherwise, you're better off using Icelandair's mobile website to take care of practical things.
Possibly the worst airline app I have ever used, with so many issues, but the most unbelievable was, while boarding on a DUB to BOS flight, my boarding pass for the first leg of the flight just disappeared from the app after my wife had her pass scanned. The flight info was still there, our boarding passes for the second leg were there, but not for the first leg. Her pass and mine were gone, leaving me on the wrong side of the gate with no boarding pass. Unbelievable!!!
