Upon opening the app, you're presented with an offer to subscribe for 38.99$/year (USD) for a digital subscription. By clicking the link, you get the chance to pay $53.65. My email about the discrepancy merited a condescending explanation that digital and print subs are priced differently, my return email was answered with an explanation on how to contact Apple. I wonder what they call bait and switch in the UK? In the US, we call it illegal.
Living in South Africa, we have no bike magazines especially dealing with the stuff that Bike covers. I enjoy every edition.
I have subscribed to Bike on kindle news-stand and experience was v. good. This service had been discontinued so I wanted to switch to the app but it doesn't run on my kindle hd 10 so no point buying digital subscription. Looks like this issue has been known about for ages so why no fix? Presumably all subscribers via amazon will hve the same problem.
Absolutely useless App I requested the online magazine as I work away and wanted to read the magazine but the app keeps crashing and says try again and again and again total waste
Bike is a good mag. I've been reading it since 1974 (I'm a slow reader). I've just switched to the app. Actually, I prefer it to the hard copy except on certain occasions.
The digital version is very flaky. Crashes continually.
