ADS even with Play Pass. It plays music though.
Covered in ads despite promises of being ad free with play pass - more ads then most services which allow streaming and it doesn't. A complete rip off. Can I update this to 0 zeros? The developer responded with some copy paste message that had nothing to do with my review. The play pass version SAYS ad free, but it is not, it is a massive scam. Do not download, and malware check your phone if you do. There IS a scam involved, likely multiple.
Why is this on play pass? Seems like the developer is abusing plas pass to get more exposure. Don't give me that "free trial" run around. That's what play pass is. It literally says "No Ads or Purchases" I suppose Google is complicit in this shenanigan since it has not been pulled. Edit: play pass IS the premium version. Don't play ignorant.
im just echoing what others have already pointed out, & that is tha attempted shakedown that ya'll are trying 2 do 2 us play pass SUBSCRIBERS !!! Alot of us subscribe 2 pass 4 that very reason, so we dont have 2 deal with adds, & paying 4 in-app purchases/subscriptions. which ya'll already know this, but yet still put tha app on this platform, & knowingly violate tha terms of tha play pass bi-laws. Every1 that has brought this up in tha reviews u have completely & intentionally ignored. RESPOND!
Google play pass offers this app saying you DO NOT need to pay for the full app. It has ads from the start. When people call them on it, they defend the fact that they do not abide by Google's T&C's. Enjoy the report to Google and have fun staying operational. You're welcome.
I downloaded the app from the play pass subscription since I was looking for an ad free player. To my surprise, the 2nd time I opened the app there was an unskippable ad (huge red flag). I see from other reviews the devs think we are all stupid and repeat the same useless thing over and over again. Don't bother downloading if looking for an ad free or no in app purchases experience since, clearly, this is not it.
The app itself works fine as far as I can tell. That being said, it is part of Google Play Pass, yet there is still in at purchases as well as ads. Unfortunately, to get rid of those ads, it is a $30 a month subscription after a 3-day trial. I pay for both Play Pass and YouTube so that I don't have ads. I don't even watch live TV anymore, because of ads. So, although I do like this app, I can't use it until this is fixed, and I can actually use what I pay for.
