Description
CPV Secundair Transport is an app that arranges transports for patients in UZL.
The CPV app was developed as an addition to the CPV module within KWS. This module arranges patient transport within the hospital.

There are other types of transport in a hospital environment, namely shuttle transport and secondary transport.

Shuttle transport: By shuttle transport we mean a shuttle bus that runs at regular intervals throughout the day between Gasthuisberg, Pellenberg and St. Raphael.

The planning is made in KWS by scheduling the patient for a ride.

Secondary transport: By secondary transport we mean separate journeys, not according to a fixed schedule, but on request, to transport 1 patient.

Use of the app CPV Secondary Transport
The drivers use the app:

both for shuttle transport and for secondary transport
to check which transport they need to do
to check if they need to bring equipment
to check whether there are supervisors
to make records of each transport
to enter the start and arrival times

This functionality will only be developed for UZ Leuven. The other hospitals outsource this type of transport to external companies.
