SPRING 1942...THE WORLD IS AT WAR
German tanks mobilize in the west, blitzing into France and pushing back the Soviet Union in eastern Europe. The United States rises in response to Japanese aggression in the Pacific. The United Kingdom rallies allies as bombers menace the skies. The year is 1942, and the world is at war!
Victory goes to the side that conquers its opponents on the field of battle and occupies the greatest cities of the world. Great game. Would love to see other iterations/options such as adding tactical fighter/bombers and mech infantry, and having the 1914 WWI version.
Constant crashes. Announcement from 2022 stated a patch. Almost 2 years later (depending on month) and has crashed everytime but once. How 'bout that patch? Besides that I would give it almost 4 stars. Can't report a problem because my email (which was used to purchase the game) is insufficient to allow me to progress through the report process? Great game. Unfortunately the follow through with the patch/crashing/reporting an issue leaves much to be desired.
I'm getting a big with low luck rolls where my defenders don't get a roll of they've had enough damage to kill them all on a second or later round of fighting. So like if I have 1 or 2 units left they should get to roll after the attacker but they don't. Also the game is pretty difficult to use and I've noticed a lot of inconsistency around loading transports. Love the actual game, just wish the execution was better.
Takes to long for a turn
It's very good, my only complaint is that the offline mode needs a difficulty slider, it's too easy as the computer does not make wise decisions
They no longer update or support the game. It's been gradually getting more and more buggy but they don't care .
I love the old PC version and this comes pretty close. I would like the ability to edit the map and change up alliances, but otherwise this game is a lot of fun.
