Gameplay is fun. Unfortunately a recent update brought in invasive adds that pop up every once in a while which has ruined the immersion. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Downgrading my 5 star review made years ago. Why are there giant ad buttons on screen when I've spent money for "VIP" and have video offers turned off in the settings?? Also the new, obviously AI-generated, icon is super ugly.
It WAS a fun game. Before they decided to make pop-up ads a thing, a subscription, and an annoying HUD leading you to the store with a giant button. So disappointed this is what my childhood favorite has turned into. I have plenty of frogs, and was working on completing the froggydex. Now I'm seriously considering uninstalling.
30 dollars to remove ads, but not really, tapjoy ads will still be there. They have added many ways to get the player to view ads, but they have not added any new features. Devs will not communicate with their fans. I don't reccomend downloading this game as of right now.
I have played this game for almost 8 years now and have had no complaints and have been super happy with it up until about a week ago they have started pushing non optional ads and it has entirely ruined a perfect relaxing game
It was a nice, casual collectors game. You can grind and eventually find all frogs in the dex without the aid of potions, but otherwise ads and potions can speed up those breeding timers. Part of what I loved about it is that I USED to have a lot of control over ad displays. But yeah I uninstalled after being unsuccessful in my attempts to get the 'earn more potions' button on your primary screen to go away.
Just as fun as I remembered! Until I lost hours of progress even with cloud saves enabled.
