Good time killer
The game plays great and feels awesome. But every. Single. Time. I open it, I am bombarded with at least 4 "special offers" please stop having it be a push and pop up notifications. Just keep the deals in the shop and allow them to pop up their. Having the game give me 4ish offers I can't afford is getting old.
I've played NimbleBit games for over a decade now and this one sort of slots in nicely with their older pocket genre catalog. However, unlike Pocket Trains or Planes, the concept of refueling in real-time whilst en-route is actually a viable solution to the hours long wait for refueling, where a few bux is the main solution. The rampant ads and monetization is to offset this revenue from refueling bux they are not getting this time around.
I've always been a huge fan of Nimblebit, especially Pocket Planes. Pocket trucks seems pretty good, I like the "detailed" map when you zoom in. A little bummed that apparently you can only get one of each truck. Also I don't know if there are events like in trains/planes. Those were always a cute touch.
Look, NimbleBit has been a huge part of my childhood, especially Pocket Trains. And idc what these other reviews say, This game is absolutely friggin amazing. It's such a breath of fresh air, having something new. And despite what others say, I love the new modern layout and art style. I just downloaded it, and I fell in love. I'm so happy to see that Nimble Bit is still alive and well. I do wish to see a new update for Pocket Trains, like new trains and graphics and redesigns.
