Recent Change
Worked fairly well on IPhone until a few weeks ago when something changed. Now the “Detailed Forecast” selection returns “Page Not Found “ instead of a video.
Detailed forecasts not so detailed
I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app and the detail forecast still shows “Page not found”. When you work outside it is imperative to know what the weather is going to be that day and even a few days ahead of time. Please fix this asap.
Only a static app
The radar aspect of the app has a crash issue. After the weather radar appears on the screen and the play icon is touched the app crashes. This had been an ongoing issue for the past two years. I’ve dumped the app and reloaded it and the problem still persists . The developers have no intention to address the problem even after they’ve been made aware of the problem. So all the radar images don’t move they’re just still or static.
Sporadic/Bugs
1. I work outside and start early AM so I like to watch their video clip of the last weather broadcast that was shown on TV (listed under “detailed forecast”). Some days they have it, some not. For the past week or so it just shows “Page Not Found” error. 2. I use an iPad and the Home Page and Forecast Pages always come up sideways & stay that way with no way to re-orient them. 3. The Daily/Hourly forecasts and synopsis often conflict with what was broadcasted on NBC-2 TV.
Bob’s Circus !!!!
It’s nothing fantastic as far as apps go ; while it shows the current weather on the radar and ETAs on weather arrivals it lacks information that the app says it provides. You have the option to customize the app but were it lacks is the area of accumulations and wind speeds . There’s a colored graph that assigns a different color for different rain accumulations and wind speeds but these colors aren’t assigned a numeric value to give you an idea on what your wanting to know. I’m glad it’s a free app cause I would be upset knowing that I paid for it and didn’t get the information that the app promised.
Does not work in landscape on iPad
Only opens in portrait mode
Poorly working app
If you don’t have WiFi or 4 bars on your phone it doesn’t work.
-Page opens to the ‘Overview’ tab which gives current conditions, 3 hour hourly forecast, the 7 day daily forecast, and access to the radar page -The 'Currents' tab will give additional information on humidity percent, cloud cover, visibility, dew point, barometric pressure, and sunrise/sunset times. -The 'Hourly' tab will give detailed weather information for the next 24 hours on the forecasted weather condition, temperature, pop and wind speed and direction. -The 'Daily' tab will show the 7-day forecast in a manner that is much more similar to on-air 7-day forecasts with a detailed forecast for the next 7 days/nights below.
