Great, but usually crashes on startup
Carrot Weather is pretty great. I like that I can see the forecast in feels like temperatures instead of the real temperature, which is great when you live somewhere humid or with lots of wind chill. My favorite feature of Carrot is the ability to have the current weather appear in the menu bar, so I have it run on startup. Unfortunately, I have some kind of bug that causes Carrot to crash when the machine starts up, so I usually have to start it manually. 😔 Overall, small inconvenience for a great weather app

I love this app. Its snarky and timely taunts crack me up. Also worth mentioning the impressive depth and breadth of weather related information that it makes available while keeping the UI clean and clear, easy to glance at. Highly recommend.

That and moving from Southern California to somewhere that actually has weather. My Dad would have loved Carrot Weather. I love it too. It is always up on my computer, iPhone, and Apple Watch. I don't know how I ever lived without it (except that I lived where there was no weather)!

Disappointed. I like the powerful modular nature of the mobile app. The desktop app is nowhere near as customizable. It has a menu bar icon, but doesn't run in the background. The icon disappears if you close the app. There's no widget either.

I'm loving CARROT on my iPhone and iPad. The Mac app … could use some love. The UI does not feel Mac-like; for example, the weather alerts button clashes with the Mac's stoplight buttons. The entire app just needs polish and to be brought to parity with the iOS app. (In particular, the global hotkey is not customizable.)

I liked Carrot Weather. I had a paid Tier 3 subscription. I was no longer able to access the app because it said I needed a paid subscription. I checked the App Store and it stated I had a paid up Tier 3 Subscription. I was not able to access the app. I had no choice but to cancel my subscription. I also removed the app from my devices. There is no use paying for an app that will not let you use it.

The iOS app is insanely good. I use it mulitple time a day and its the best in design, usability, and accurate data. Then comes this abomination. Feels like and acts like an app from 2010. I'm pretty bummed i spent $15 on this for my new macbook pro. It needs to be updated to look and work like the iOS version. Plus I'm pretty sure its going to fail to launch again like others have said, so its a dud. I'm on an M2 Pro Macbook Pro.
