Don't buy
I bought 2, one for an Airbnb and one for my own house. I liked the design and the password for the airbnb is useful. The problem is that the app doesn’t tell you when the batteries life (4 batteries AAA) the app doesn't even send you a message to prevent. One day my Airbnb guest were no able to go into the house on a rainy day because the batteries were gone. They had to wait inside their car until I was able to drive and open with the master key. Another day my mother in law was gonna take care of my dog and again the batteries were done. And is not something that you can control like: I'll change the batteries every 15 days or every month, because the batteries die according the use of the opening/closing door. So it can be a month, 15 days or a week. And let me remind you that they are 4 AAA batteries that they recommend in the instructions that cannot be rechargeable. I tried to return both and once they have been installed there is not return. Waste of money (they are not cheap) and a head ache having to have a calendar note every 15 days to go and change the batteries.
App works great
I know apps should just work but sometimes these companies that have traditional devices and services do not have good applications. This one is good.

Unstable, Not reliable
Shifting from WiFi to Bluetooth and back plus various “features” seem to come and go without stability. Hard to find something as critically important as locks to families homes being so unstable. WARNING - locks are NOT dual band or tri-band mesh router friendly. Of course no mention in the sales pieces or warnings before you buy. These locks need to “lock” into 2.4g…
DoorSense issue with no support from Yale
I'm on my second lock and still having issues with the DoorSense. If you plan to use this feature, avoid this type of lock. It worked much better before the last update. Now, it is useless.
Awesome
Love the product works great!!!!
Glitchy and terrible
I’ve had this lock maybe two months. The app no longer allows me to add users. The lock itself also gives constant error messages when I try to lock the door via manual or the app. Useless for the purpose it was purchased for, which is temporary entry for all the people working on my home renovation. Absolutely not worth the dollars. Wish I had my old Schlage lock and app access.
