Buggy. Device’s intermittently lose connection.
If this system worked consistently, that would be great, but it doesn’t. The devices constantly lose connection and need to be reconnected to Wi-Fi. It’s not a problem with my Wi-Fi. I have a very strong mesh system. I have 88 Topgreener devices (switches, dimmers, plugs and relays) installed so my connection issues are not isolated to just a few devices; it seems that all devices are unreliable. The app could also use a UX update. When you have 20 or so rooms the slider menu is really not ideal. A list menu would be much better when you have this rooms configured.

With age, apps and products should get better. Not this company. When this company’s first products came out, it wasn’t difficult to setup and connect to Alexa echo devices. I just bought a set of wall plugs like the ones I bought before, but they will not connect with the new app, the olds don’t connect, only one switch connected to the app and I can’t share it with my Alexa app. No online help solves my problems. I’m never buying another one of these again. I’m literally going to replace the of 25 devices that I got working with a name brand stuff that will work seamlessly with my echoes. What a pain.
Doesn’t lock in your location time zone!!
If you are traveling in a different time zone, let’s say in the other part of the world, your lights will go on/off in your traveling time zone and not the time zone of where you live! I tried stopping location access while I was traveling but it keeps on using the time zone where I am at and not the time where it should be be. Also, during a power outage, the switches are very finicky and the light brightness usually goes to 0%.

It would be nice if these devices could work with Apple HomeKit, Google and Samsung automation. I get the feeling it only works with this app on this phone.

Still not able to scroll monthly usage page on an iPhone SE. Please fix.
Account Went Missing After 2 Years
My phone offloaded the app so I re-downloaded it. Upon opening TG, I was logged out. I tried logging back in with my email to no avail. When using the forgot password feature, it said my account “does not exist”. My account basically just disappeared into thin air after 2 years. Highly disappointing as I will now have to re-make my account and reinstall each individual plug.
