So much worse
The app when I first got my juice box was fine. Nothing fancy but easy to use. Then for some reason they decided to make the current app which is so bad it’s amazing. It’s so bad I’d be surprised if the person that supervised the development of this app ever works in tech again.

The app is buggy. In fact, you can’t even file a bug report since it returns the error message ‘bad gateway’. Before JuiceBox was acquired by Enel the app was great. Ever since it’s been trouble.

It’s the Atari ET cartridge of smart charger apps. I’m always in the pit and can’t get out. 🤷🏻♂️ For example, it wants a “pairing pin” to configure the device. But the instructions say to get the “pairing pin” from the menu. But the menu doesn’t show up unless there’s a device configured. The pit. Or you can change “ownership” instead. But that procedure requires you plug into the car. So I do that but it just gets forever stuck in a spinning circle when I do that. More being in the Atari ET game pit. Should not be hard to make this app with normal paid engineer skill level.

updated review several years and six chargers later i will not write a book but just say this app and the new way app are just not ready for prime time use. issues with apps and servers combined to create an unworkable situation. my thanks to the wonderful tech folks who spent so much time with me dealing with multiple difficulties. my suggestion is to avoid all the pain and get a dumb charger so you dont need to deal with any of this since the charger is only partially usable without a fully functional app.

This app is worthless and so is Juice net support. I constantly get the msg “Cusytomer see is is not available, try again later”. DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM BECAUSE IT DIES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED AND YOU CANNOT GET HELP.
