Explore the world of the Mayan calendar and the number system of the Maya. StelaClock is a fun and educational clock that shows the current time and date inspired by the Maya number system. The Mayan calendar uses a modified vigesimal (Base 20) notation for the long count representation of the date and the app also includes a sophisticated calendar converter The Mayan LongCount shows the current date in the way the Maya used it and although the Maya did not have digital clocks, if they had, it would most certainly look like this. All the numerals are using Mayan glyphs and the vigesimal system inspired by the Maya. Entertain yourself and others with this ancient Maya inspired clock ready for everyday use in the office or at home. Watch the Mayan LongCount date as it changes to the next baktun on December 21, 2012. Enter the realm of the Maya...
Interesting
I’m a bit more into Mayan stuff lately and I enjoyed this Mayan conversion of our time...
Won't go below 1900 nor above 2015
Why limit the dates to just between 1900 and 2015. Waste of 99cents. Fix and would increase rating.
Innovative
Very innovative... Works perfectly, although one must get used to the new notation (mayan) and system (base 20).
Cool gadget
Original idea and good implementation. It's a visual treat and entertaining in a way only a clock like this can be.
Nice app
I love the Mayan calendar converter and the clock. Something different...I like it!
Nice app
Cool clock based on Mayan numerals. Interested to see the calendar change on Dec 21, 2012. Worth the dollar!
Great idea and fun
Interesting clock using Maya symbols for time and long count using Mayan calendar...on my desk now. Nice!
