Forget reading these reviews—the fact this app even exists is decent indicator of how poor Bryant (Carrier) customer service is, and how poorly engineered their products are, which are designed to be anti-competitive. Thermostats like a nest with similar basic functionality like wifi access have wifi access disabled when they connect to a Bryant machine. This is adversarial software design, implemented by 3rd-rate software engineers, and customers suffer.
Useless
Tried to troubleshoot a blink doorbell that was not responding after adding it to my network. Again and again. After scanning, it told me my network was Very Good. Also told me there was 1 issue. And that I should click on the issue for details… BUT IT NEVER SHOWS ANY LINK. With nothing to do, and no other options to choose, no menu or functions to explore, this app tells me NOTHING. Tried it 3 times. Shame on me. Clearly the issue is The App Itself. Uninstalled.
User unfriendly
It starts with the first question, to provide a four-digit support code. Huh? Looking for help with how to get this code resulted in zilch. I removed the app in the time it took to install it. Blink, is this the best you’ve got?
No Access Code. Time to move on
Have had Blink for several years. Amazon took over and slowly deteriorated. Just now 8 cameras all went offline. Told to try this app. Just asks for an acces code not given to me. Think its time to move on to a real security system
What code
I don’t know how to get a access code
Worthless
Customer service is no more. I called blink. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes listening to the same 15 seconds of pounding piano on perpetual repeat I cancelled the call. It was that or kill myself. Then I found they had an app just for this issue. They said download this app before calling support. I thought that meant the app would diagnose the issue of “system unavailable”. NOPE! The first thing it wants is a four digit code provided by tech support. I’m on the verge of packing up this entire garbage system and sending back to Bazos in a million pieces. It’s a lousy system anyway. It takes far to long to get notifications. It takes far too long to connect to a camera to see what triggered the notification. By the time it connects whoever was there is long gone. All that’s left to see is someone walk past the camera. It’s junk.
Not that great
I have great speeds thought my house but they still wanted me to down load this app. I run the test I have 156.9 Mbps download and 139.5 Mbps upload and my network health is poor. I also have full bars in my phone. I logged into my Zone director and have very little packet loss. I’ll stick with my WiFi Analyzer and Speedtest apps.
