Dark Mode
C’mon, seriously. It’s 2024. Dark mode.
Pretty good
Needs logic to be able to turn on heated floors when humidity is high. That would be very useful in bathroom
Great product
Super easy to install the thermostat and the app was easier yet.
I like the thermostats, but the apps only work in portrait view
This is the only app I have, on my iPhone, or iPads, that doesn’t switch from landscape to portrait view, depending on how you have your device oriented. I used to be a programmer, and this is almost as easy as checking a box. The app only has a portrait view. Since most of the time my iPads are in landscape view, I have to rotate them to see the app which is otherwise quite good. I complained about this once before, and the developer blew me off. The other annoying thing, that shared with several apps, is, you can only set it up on your routers 2.4 GHz channel. The developer is always asking how the out can be improved. It wouldn’t take much to make the app work in portrait and landscape view.
Something’s up with background usage
Overall, app (and thermostats) are good — best option for baseboard heaters, for sure, but some usability clunkiness. However, in the last few weeks background usage has changed: getting persistent active location tracking indicator and it’s responsible for 12% of daily battery usage (all in background).
Works Better With HomeKit
The app seems to work better with HomeKit than it did a year ago, last winter. Thanks for continuing to fine tune the app/HomeKit/Mysa ecosystem.
App needs dark mode
The Mysa thermostats are great. The app’s functionality is fine, with the exception of not having a dark mode option. Hey Mysa, it’s almost 2024, dark mode is no longer optional functionality. It’s baseline. Please add it asap.
The Mysa team has been working on fixing some bugs and making improvements to Mysa for AC remote matching workflow.
