I have had this app installed for many years and don't even notice it most of the time. I fall in love with each each time I look at a friends screen and see all of the ads that they put up with. I haven't seen an advertisement in years. It works well with iCloud Private Relay and has many advanced features. But I don't really need them.

I'm a big fan of NextDNS, and I have my home router pointed to NextDNS to protect all of my networked devices. However, the NextDNS MacOS client is bad. It has no network detection feature, so you can't have it automatically enable/disable based on what network/SSID/NIC you are connected to. This is a huge oversight, so I de-installed the app and won't use it until the developers improve it.
