No thanks, it’s my hardware just let me connect to it locally.
I have SPY9 and it works
You guys I found solution. Download google home app and connect through the google home app once done it will update and return you to LG app and it works. Try that
Works flawlessly with my 3.1 LG Soundbar (S65Q)
Very useful app that lets you change modes, settings, updates, etc. on your soundbar. So far I have been able to use the app with ease. Once you connect your phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth, you’re good to go. For reference, I have my bar connected to my TV via HDMIarc, which from what I understand it’s the preferred method.
Doesn’t connect
Trying to update soundbar firmware and the LG website said to use the app but the app doesnt even show im connected even though my phone says i am. The app is buggy and i cannot update my soundbar.
App no longer connects to my soundbar.
The app worked fine at first, I’d connect to my soundbar via Bluetooth and be able to adjust settings effortlessly. However, within a month of setting my soundbar up the app refuses to connect to my soundbar. I’ve tried forgetting the device and pairing it again and nothing. LG SHOULD have enough money to have their developers create a more stable app. But this garbage app is all they can deliver to us, the customers. Very disappointing.

I am not going to lie, looking at these reviews had me extremely worried. I thought I was going to have to return this soundbar due to terrible app support. Thankfully that wasn’t the case. Had zero issues connecting to and setting up my S80QY soundbar. Good luck everybody else.
LG SN4A only works on Android? 😂
So half their soundbars say it works with the iOS app but only in the manual it say in small print. Android only. SMH. So, Beware the bait and switch. LG (SN4A) owners don’t waste the download to find out it’s not supported unless you buy an Android. Also add a screen to say Android only bars. Save the customers the headache 🤕.
