Sounds like I’m underwater
Being hard of hearing, having captioning makes my calls at work so much easier to understand. However the last few weeks, people are constantly telling me they can’t hear or understand me clearly, that I sound muffled or underwater. Is there anything that can be done to fix this on the app or my i phone? I rely pretty heavily on captioning.

I have struggled with phone calls for decades. I’m in sales and have always defaulted to asking customers to text me or email me if they needed anything. Most were okay with that, but there are some people who are technologically challenged. A phone call works better for them. The InnoCaption app has changed all that for me. My customers can call me on my cell and from their perspective, they wouldn’t know they were talking to a hearing impaired person. Outside of work, I can actually have phone conversations with friends and family, or make a dinner reservation or doctors appointment without having to ask my SO to make the call for me. I can’t say enough about how this app has helped me. Give it a try!

I used to dread phone calls especially with people who are harder for me to understand. Having captions has made an enormous difference! Even if the captions aren’t perfect I can usually figure out what is being said. And it helps me get numbers right if taking down an address, etc. I used to need my husband to translate calls for me and now hardly ever. I am very grateful to have this tool. Also the customer service team is very responsive to questions.

I am a hard of hearing user that uses Bluetooth to connect my hearing aids to my phone. If I know the caller well, I usually do pretty well on the phone. This service did help me a few times by captioning some dates and times, but for conversational use the accuracy, in my opinion, for a speaker I couldn’t hear well, was not adequate. I decided to discontinue the service. The technology of captioning conversations accurately is not there yet.

I am a cochlear implanted individual who cannot understand speech on the phone. This app provides me with the confidence to speak with people. All calls captioned. If I miss a number or word, it appears on the cell phone. Support is second to none. Captioned voice messages and calls. Highly recommended.

The app is useable but slow and buggy Until I finally had enough of it and switched to Nagish OMG Nagish is lightyears ahead of Innocaption Why didn’t I switch sooner? 🤣
