Avoid HP altogether
Last time I buy an HP printer. Constantly prompted to sing up for HP+ every time I need to use my printer using the HP Print app. So I started the free trial just to avoid the incessant “sign up for a free trial!” Obviously, you have to input payment info so they can undoubtedly charge you the moment your free trial is up. We’ll here I am trying to cancel this useless subscription. The website won’t load or sends me a “privacy concern” alert when trying to direct me to my support dashboard. Now I’m using this even more useless app all in the effort to cancel this subscription. Save yourself the hassle and buy a more reputable printer that doesn’t require an app for every little feature of a printer. Legally, this is not a scam. But HP sure does operate like greedy scum. If the shoe fits…
Worthless
Doesn’t sync with the other HP apps. Why they would separate the service end of their device management app to a different app is beyond me. Disjointed. Also just doesn’t work
Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with
Other than take my money, this company has done nothing for me, and is a royal waste of time. I have a business to run, I don’t have time to monkey around with endless log ins and all these confusing accounts. Absolute disgrace of a company.
Unresponsive to actually speak to customers!
Had the first year ink covered with my purchase, have been a low user, so didn’t receive new cartridges for several months. When printer started fading, (color ink went first) now can get only pale black ink, been like this for a few months, have requested several times and get no response from virtual response team. I kept trying to get ink sent, jumped through hoops “cleaning” and still get no ink sent. Obviously they do not monitor my machine to see if it is working or they would have sent ink .
Can’t even download the app without a purchase?
This is the 2nd time I’ve bought an Hp printer, but I won’t do it a 3rd time. The first printer I just thought it was broken, it wasn’t really the style I wanted anyway so gave it to a family member. This is the 2nd hp and just like the first, I can’t even successfully download the freaking app. It has taken almost a month and counting! Still no connection. They have the nerve to say too long without a connection will stop it from working period. So I should pack it up and return it right?? I was trying not to get so into apple products, but at least they cater to humans. Not sure what this hp crap is doing!!! I’m extremely livid! My work is piling up on me!
