With the new Solar.web App you can keep an eye on your photovoltaic system at all times, wherever you are. - Clear display of current values and daily curves - Evaluation and analysis of energy yields and CO2 savings - Easy access to energy data from the past - Intuitive operation To be able to access data from a PV system in the app, the PV system must be linked to a Solar.web account. A Solar.web account can be created and the PV system added during commissioning or also via the website www.solarweb.com.
Old app worked far better than the updated version
I have used the old Solar.web app as long as I could, but the new app locks up and shows me nothing but what the “current” is, no weekly or monthly records at all.
Bad design and UX
This is just a poorer version of the legacy app. No swiping and the hierarchy is confounding. Worst of all, they now charge for historical graphic data - this after I’ve already paid 1000s of dollars for their inverter. Bad business, bad app, sorry execution.
Buggy, so it’s virtually useless
History tab, Daily charts (15 minute interval) shows 3x the what actual solar output is. Fronius.com page charts are correct though. Current production tab is correct, so whoever is doing the charts, their math is wrong
new version
it loads slow, updates when?? a step back ,x axe’s just one time ….poor!
larger UI please
much better than using the web interface, works ok when viewing ipad up close …. however the UI for “current power” needs to have an option to make it much larger … for a wall mounted IPAD to show current power flows, the symbols/text is much too small . pls make this improvement and it will then be very useful ..
Room for improvement
Latest version not working with iOS16 , it launches with a gray screen with no data that does not moves. Also You have so much potential to improve the user data and UX presentation with all the data that you have collected. It does not feel like a native app performance and presentation wise.
Hmm
1. I live in another time zone as I run fronius. I’m 9 hours behind. Would be great, if app can use local time and date. Not time and date from iphone. I have 23:30 Sunday, but my fronius runs already 8:30 on Monday. To see Monday graph, I need to wait to 00:01. 2. App doesn’t start. Only white page. Luckily there is still old solar.web which works including historical data.
