In the early years, the dark years, when smartphone apps were a novelty and an arcane art, when microservices meant a tiny waiter or waitress, we would have apps like this: thinly disguised wrappers around websites with lots of redirecting links. And when the website had issues, like it seems to have a fair bit with Fronius (like right now while I’m typing this) then the app is also as useful as a fridge at the South Pole. This thing needs a rewrite from the bottom up! As does the website, btw. Especially if you want to entice people to use your Premium service. Edit: while I appreciate the invitation to contact the developers, it would be helpful to not simply receiving a generic link to website with only an even more generic contact link. Please provide a proper technical support forum to submit and discuss issues.

I have four Fronius Primo inverters. This app allows me to view all four on the same page. It also shows the total combined kWh for the day, total since commissioned and total for year to date. The trick is to connect all the inverters with Ethernet cable. There is an IN and OUT jack in each inverter. The termination plugs that comes installed should be placed in the IN jack of the first inverter. The Ethernet cable should then run from the OUT jack of the first inverter to the IN jack of the next and so on. The last inverter should have a termination plug in the OUT jack. Then go into setup and number the inverters 1 through your number of linked inverters. You will be able to view all inverters on one app.

Pro: Was able to easily create an account in right away. Con: I have 2 inverters and had to create 2 separate user IDs to login to the app. They need to come up with a way to allow multiple inverter viewing with the same user ID and be able to switch back and forth between inverter statistics within the app. And not have to log out and log in.

First it has a bug that it crashes the app after it launches it gives you like 5sec to look at after updated the kWh. FYI this is for both iPhone and iPad app!! Seconds it doesn't give you any other info other than monthly kWh and today kWh. No true "Actual realtime kWH" it's missing the very little option the desktop version has and even that is limited. Third the background of the app is not customizable or at least accurate. When it's daytime it shows nighttime background with a moon and it's like 3pm when the sun is out and strong! Most annoying are the constant crashing and the night background during the day.
