Protect your privacy! Cookie Blocker runs as a Safari extension that allows you to block certain sites from installing cookies. Safari has its own cookie blocking settings, but applies globally. Users are not able to manage which sites which should allow cookies. Cookie blocker was born to overcome this limitation. Features: - Block cookies and deletes storages on allowed list - Does not track you in any way - iCloud support to use the same configuration. Limitation: - Unable to delete HTTPONLY cookies
Extension?
I don’t see any Safari extension in iOS 17.1.2. So it seems pretty worthless. Help menu is a waste of time. Do not buy!
Privacy no-go
This app claims that no data is collected, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The privacy policy linked below says: “ Cookie Blocker does not collect anything. Cookie Blocker does not send any data from or to your device. All functionality is performed on your device. There are no analytics.” Apple’s app privacy report shows that the app is contacting 4 internet addresses. Two are Apple metrics related, one is an ocsp certificate check and the last is the developer web site. It seems like a mistake to give an extension full access to all websites that you visit when it is violating its own privacy policy so blatantly. The cookie deleting does appear to work as described, so kudos for that, I guess.
Works perfect
Works as advertised. Gives me the ability to block cookies from individual websites. More control over privacy. Great extension.
Simple And Effective
it works well, no subscription needed. it also makes all websites desktop version, which is unexpected but welcome.
Please release Mac OS version
The app does exactly what it says, dear developer; please release the Mac OS version too.
