This “update” is deeply bad
As so many have noted, unlike the old version which was easy to use and refresh, it is now near impossible to get info in a quick way, ridiculous number of steps required, and so visually disorganized it makes my head explode. Lovely that the developer is responding to reviews - please for the love of New Yorkers, change this back.
New app almost unusable
The old app was relatively easy to use and the information could be found without a million taps. This one is so clunky and even for someone very familiar with NYC transit is almost unusable. We just want to be able to see the train/bus schedules and updated real-time arrival information without having to go through a ton of hoops.
Terrible update
Bring back the older version. So much more work to get the schedule. Confusing and opposite of helpful
New app doesn’t load
The new app doesn’t load and when it does it’s slow. The direction is confusing when looking at a subway station, as is the bus direction.
Still crashes when opening
The last three or four updates have been completely worthless… They launch and then disappear from the screen. When you swipe up and over to quit the various apps suddenly there is the MTA app…! Tapping on it repeats the cycle of crashing… What did you break?
Access A Ride With MTA
Absolutely, horrible service ! It’s appropriate name should be stress A Ride ! I’m a disabled woman and the service between the MTA and the phone operators lets not even talk about the drivers OMG Just absolutely Horrible service! By rare occasions, you come across a great driver professional helpful kind , but majority of the time your not so lucky sad to say ! Sometimes you get lift outside for hours before anyone comes rain, snow smh They need to make improvements badly across the board in every department! ASAP
Rubbish
This app is garbage. It is for tourists, not NYers, but if I was a tourist I would draw the same conclusion about what a mess it is. Not remotely intuitive. No home button. Too many back arrows. Uses strange terms like “explore” and “status”. How about bring the old app back, which was direct, like NYers! NYers want to know where their train is. That is it. What a waste of time and money.
- View live bus locations on the route map - Ability to select a default tab that opens when you come back to the app later - Remembers where you last were in the Explore and Status tabs - Expected outage date displays for upcoming subway elevator and escalator outages - Various bug fixes More to come soon. Thank you for riding with us.
