From the App you can not only book your car or access the Goldcar network of offices spread over 9 countries, you can also: Access HELP: providing direct access to the roadside assistance service and helpful FAQs. You can also request an invoice for a contracted service. And in case you unfortunately suffer an accident or the theft of your car, from the app we provide a simple guide to notify us automatically with all the details, making the management associated with these incidents more flexible. I am not sure why but I continually have issues making payments for my reservation using both the PC and Mobile Apps. No, I am not using Discover or American Express cards. I rent waaaay to often for this to keep happening and to add to the frustration most often with my payment finally goes through the charge has increased by several euros/dollars a day. Really?
Will not accept phone number
I like Goldcar but cannot make reservations because the app & online reservations will not accept my usa phone number for text verification. Had to make reservations with another company
Website and look great
While the website and app look great I have been unable to use either of them to rent a car. I can’t get past the sms verification because I never get sent a verification to my USA phone The chat box doesn’t work at all. No where to type a message. When I call to let them know of the issue and to try and rent a car the person just tells me to go to the office and then hangs up. Pretty sad state of affairs. I have had to rent elsewhere

Unable to book key ‘n go because app refuses to send sms. Tried various phones and carriers, no luck.
Mobile validation does not work
It does not send you a sms but expect you to enter the validation code. I tried it at least 10 times with different US numbers and never got any validation code. In the drivers license they spell United States as united estates… lol. Just some bunch of kids developed this seems like.
They stole 400 euros from me
Goldcar literally stole 400 euros from us. Pre-paid our reservation, showed up to collect the car and they told us they wouldn’t accept our US driver’s license. They then said they would not refund us and that we should contact customer service. We’ve contacted customer service and they won’t refund us either.
The App does not work as expected
Trying to use this app to manage a reservation I made for a car. Initially I was able to see my booking and go to the voucher but when trying to add it to my wallet app it would not work. Now when I use the app there is no current booking information or anything in the booking history despite the reservation showing up in my account online. The app is not helpful whatsoever and actually makes the rental reservation process very frustrating.
