Horrible App, atrocious dev
I’m baffled how a business that’s providing travelers the ability bypass security lines for screened safety measures can have such a horrible app. 1. The app is useless when traveling. They don't even use the app when you check-in with Clear at the airport. They want to see your passport and ticket. 2. The vaccination card that’s a part of the app is a joke. It takes weeks to verify, only to find out that Clear purges the information you’ve already input. Waste of time. 3. It’s clunky. It doesn’t really serve any purpose and if you need to check account details it redirects you to a webpage. So bad. I doubt there’s any recurring dev on this app.

We noticed that app shows the new message that it not supported on border controls and no other actions were allowed. I called clearme support and after removing and reinstalling this app several times I was asked to try again in 30 min!?!?! What a service!! Mom.am

Does not accept alphanumeric passport numbers. Only allows US 9 digit passport numbers to be used.

5 stars from my own personal use. Was easy to submit and I skipped the line at SFO since no one knows to use mobile passport (the old non-Clear app was awful). It looks like new US passports, at least for children may be issued with passport IDs whose first digit is a letter. The app doesn’t seem to support this and flags it as invalid, not allowing you to save the traveler details. So if your passport has an ID like this the app is unusable. Seems like an easy fix, so I’m surprised this hasn’t been prioritized.
